Opportunities are managed from within the Account or Contact you want to associate the Opportunity to. So to create an opportunity, go to an account or contact as shown in the picture, click on the ‘opportunity” icon which will display all opportunities associated with the account/contact:

 

To create a new opportunity, simply click on the icon to open the Opportunity creating screen, and where you can fill in the fields that appear in the image in the window that opens on the lower left hand corner (the products are the ones created in the Products tab).

 

You may include a name and a closing date. Also stage, type and origin can be added from the dropdown menus. Select at what stage that opportunity is in, what business type it is related to and the origin of the opportunity. Add a description and if necessary include comments.

 

Finally the products can be added to the opportunity. From the dropdown menu, select the products that will be included and that were previously created from the products tab. To remove a product, simply click the “X” button

 

Once finished editing click the “Save” button and the list of opportunities for the Account will appear. To edit the opportunity, simply click on edit to open the opportunity in order to edit and save any changes.
